Hey friends.
I love the power of light, be it from the sun, or a man-made source. It's what makes photography possible. Without light, no photos. For the longest time I have been looking for an affordable route to a portable softbox. So when I came across the Interfit Strobies line, I snatched up their 24x24 inch softbox. So far I am loving it. I use it with Nikon's SB-900 and it's a great on the go, easy to maneuver lighting setup. The photos above and below were shot using this set up. I think they were exposed around F5.6 1/80th and the flash was set at 1/4 power.



When you have to ability to control your source of light, thats powerful, and you can do amazing things with it, but my favorite source of light is the sun. The photos below were shot all natural light. The quality you get from using natural light is amazing. Can't beat it.

NERDS!! --September 1st, 2010.

Yet again, another story of the bully picking on the little guy. Ha!

These are a few images from the shoot I did for MakeOut, a weekly dj/dance party here in town. They are celebrating their year anniversary with a nerd themed night and needed some great flyers to promote the night! Can't believe its been a year! Congrats to them. Should be a good time.
